Waste plastic is also called white pollution, and it is one of the most difficult solid wastes to deal with. Its chemical composition is very complex, not only difficult to degrade, but also has a low recovery rate. Improper handling can also produce highly toxic substances dioxins, causing serious pollution to the world environment.The waste plastics are treated by the pyrolysis process, and the waste plastics are converted into regenerated oil during the heat treatment process underthe condition of lack of oxygen, low temperature and normal pressure, and the residue is only a small amount of harmless ash. Compared with the traditional incineration and landfilling of waste plastics, the pyrolysis process is safer and more environmentally friendly, and it is also in line with the country’s advocacy of resource recycling.

Oil rate of common plastics: （PET polyester cannot be used for refining）

1. Polyvinyl chloride: PVC——not easy to refine oil;
2. Polyethylene: PE ——pure and clean,the oil yield is about 95%;
3. Polypropylene: PP——pure and clean,the oil yield of a bout 90%;
4. Polystyrene: PS——pure and clean,the oil yield of about 90%;
5. ABS engineering plastic: ~ 40%;
6. Pure white plastic sheet: ~ 70%;
7. Instant food packaging bag: ~ 40%;
8. Plastic trademark: -20%;
9.  Leftovers from papermills: （T5-20% higher water content, -60% dry material）; 9.1 Directly fished out:~12-15%; 9.2 After rinsing:~33-40%;9.3 Sinking material:~50%;
10. Domestic garbage:- 30-50%, miscellaneous materials: -20%;
11. Pure plastic cable sheath:- 80%;
12. Clean plastic bag—-more than 50%.
